Hi, I'm Clara
Hello, I’m Clara.
I’m a professionally trained chef, certified health coach, dedicated runner, and mom of two.
I trained in culinary arts at Le Cordon Bleu in Chicago and later studied nutrition and wellness through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. Before starting Mindful Clara, I worked as a wellness-focused private chef, creating real-food meals tailored to my clients’ individual needs and dietary preferences.
Those experiences taught me that good food isn’t just about following a recipe. Ingredients matter. Flavor matters. And food has to work for the person actually eating it.
Food has always been something I’m particular about.
I read ingredient labels. I care about how food tastes and how it makes me feel. And I don’t make food for other people that I wouldn’t eat myself.
As a runner, someone who exercises regularly, and a mom raising two kids, I also know that real life doesn’t always leave time to make everything from scratch.
I wanted food I could reach for on a busy morning, before or after a workout, or whenever I needed something ready—made with thoughtfully chosen ingredients and flavors I actually looked forward to eating.
That became the foundation for Mindful Clara.
Real food for real mornings.
Mindful Clara brings together the way I was trained to cook and the way I actually live.
I make small-batch granola, overnight oats, and other foods for busy mornings and active days. The flavors come from my background as a chef, while the ingredients reflect the standards I have for the food I eat myself.
No complicated idea of “healthy.” Just thoughtfully made food with quality ingredients, interesting flavors, and food that fits into real life.
If I wouldn’t serve it to my own family or eat it myself, I won’t make it for you.
